Day 20: 11-6-20

Hi to all the everybodys and nobodys of the world. What's up you guys😅? Well for my excuse: I was tied up at procrastination station. To be honest, that's why I'm on here now too. I have toooons of homework to do and I.do.not.want.to.start. This is my first year doing AP and I am struggling😂. Hopefully it'll be alright though.

Another reason as to why I'm on here is because I haven't free wrote (idk if that's a term) in a while. So this is gonna be messier than usual. Imma just apologize ahead of time for whatever happens after this.

I was thinking of "analyzing" another poem and daaaang. I don't know how old me wrote such personal stuff on here. I'm gonna keep looking though, so don't worry. You're gonna get content today, quality or not.

    I'VE GOT IT!!!!!!

Okay so I'm not going to write about a poem, instead I want to analyze a saying/phrase.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder

Disclaimer to all the fools out there: Just because I find you beautiful and attractive does not mean that I am in love with or interested in you.

To me the first thing I think about is physical beauty, as shallow as that is. But I feel like my thought process is a bit different than from what I find attractive. It's more of a personal conspiracy theory. What if we all see a person differently? The way someone looks to me could be different from the way they appear to you, and this may cause the variance in what we find appealing. So even if you think that you're ugly, there is someone in the world who finds you absolutely beautiful.

Okay, conspiracy theories out of the way lets get into the real stuff. Although a person's physical appearance may peak my interest it is their personality that makes or breaks the deal. To me it is in the way you treat others when they are not being kind or need a helping hand. This is true to the point that even if you are not attractive my mind will make you appear so if you are kind and caring. Suddenly your smile might be unique even if your teeth aren't straight, or your eyes will become magical in the way that they hold sympathy and understanding.

In the same way this personality check is reversible. If you are egoistical and judgmental, your attractiveness would be canceled out.

Wow, I feel like my answer to this is extremely basic and obvious. So that is why I had a few of my friends(I know it shocks me that I have friends too) answer it for ya.

Also I wanted to keep these as real as possible (code for: I'm too lazy) so I left them as is.

Dana (my soulmate and fellow crackhead 😘) says, "Someone who has true kindness in their heart and I know that's cheesy. But, nowadays it's hard to find people who genuinely care about the well being of others and who don't do [crap] for themselves. I'm talking about the people who will give you their all and asks for nothing back. Those people in my eyes are not only beautiful but have pure souls. I [couldn't] care less what you look like."

Deric (idk how I spelled his name before, but it's still the same fool (sorry kid, but the name's gonna have to stay😈)) writes, "Beautiful (in regards to a place) means something either natural or artificial that can give you just a sense of awe and wonder. Its when something is able to portray a certain (not anger-related) emotion. Something vibrant enough to make you happy, or something dimmed enough to give you comfort when you are sad."

Ty( hey sis, we should really play among us soon😂) says, "I think beauty is qualities a person finds admirable or attractive, maybe even  a bit unusual, sorry if that's a bit of a shallow reply honestly it's such a broad term."

Last but not least my little sister (actually cousin) Gee (you're too pretty for your own good. Like you coulda shared the genes but noooo😒) writes, "When I think about beauty in people, it's never about their face or their body. The first thing that comes to mind is their kindness and their attitude. How they treat others and how they treat strangers... even how they view life. You [may be] pretty on the outside... but if you don't have a good heart, then you ugly to me sis."

As I began to read through these I saw a common theme. None of these kids really care about how you look (Deric could be a little sus though😂). Some of you may be paranoid that these were planned out, but you must be crazy to think I have that kind of energy.

So to all of us that don't like the way we look, listen up. You are beautiful just the way you are, and I think that this is true because you're here reading some kid's blog. Even if I forced you to read it, there are so many lies you could tell to get out of it and you're still here. If you agreed with our claims on kindness, you are beautiful.

If at anytime you think you are not, then you need to fix those eyes, because you are the beholder.

    You are beautiful.

To conclude I'm gonna add a few things I find beautiful:

YOU

Kindness

Confidence

Self Love
Smiles
Nature
Good days

Bad days
(bc they allow us to enjoy the good ones)
